Janet Fanai

My name is Janet Fanai, I’m from Aizawl, a small city in Mizoram, India. After graduating high school, I dove right into working at an Amazon warehouse. Along the way, I explored different roles, took some college courses, and worked in everything from office jobs to serving, until I found my way to Credence!

What's your favorite part about your position?

My favorite thing about my position is the chance to grow, both in my job and in my personal life. It keeps pushing me to be better and shows me that I can achieve more if I keep working at it.

What's the best advice you've gotten in our business?

There's a lot of great advice, but the best one that I can think of right now would be; time now for time later and put in the work.

What are your goals?

My focus right now is on personal growth and building myself up to complete my current training and move on to the next step. This will also benefit my personal life, as I want to set a positive example for those around me, build a foundation to support women and children in India, and sponsor kids who want to pursue missionary work or study theology but lack the resources.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

I love traveling to warm, beachy destinations and visiting Manhattan—I’m drawn by the city’s vibrant energy! 

What are some of your hobbies?

I have a passion for both makeup and painting, and I find that practicing one helps me improve the other. I also really enjoy reading and crocheting.

Fun fact about yourself

I love bartending, I have a passion for wine and I might become a level 4 sommelier one day, just for fun. I also enjoy watching shows and movies in my free time.
